Home is a disaster

Christine Caitor Stayed at home with nothing to do. She had the biggest problem she could ever face. She didn’t know whether she would go out or watch TV. She had to pick something to do or she would freak out. She decided she would watch Alvin and the chipmunks on the TV and on that day it wasn't that bad after all.

Message in a bottle

I am Jessica  the sender of the message in this bottle. I am about to take this to the prime minister I was stuck here because I was addicted to texting. I was punished and got inside

this bottle. Now whenever someone needs to deliver a message they tell me. It is hard to deliver messages because sometimes I need to go the through water or on the road, I have been stuck in this bottle for 5 years. I don't know when I am going out but when I can I am never texting ever again.

Cultural festival

On Saturday 25th November the day of the cultural groups, I went to the owairaka tent to find my clothes for the first performance. My first performance was kapa-haka and I was so excited to her that the prime minister was the one who would open the cultural festival. We performed and the crowed was so big and loud, they were so happy and excited to see our dance. My second dance was for the Mexican cultural group. We were dressed in these sparkly red tutu’s and green necklaces. After my performance everybody was clapping, I could see their bright smiles. The day was amazing and I wish I could do it again.

This is our kindness calendar, my best friend Olivia helped me. Google drawings was easy to use and was really fun to  make this kindness calendar.

My School holiday

Diwali

Diwali is celebrated all around the world , it is an official holiday in India,Singapore,Fiji,Malaysia,
Guyana and several other countries  as well. Workers and students will have 2 weeks of school and work.

5 interesting facts:

• Diwali also means "festival of lights"
• Diwali is a five day celebration and each have special significance 
• Diwali is celebrated each year, it changes days every year and it is only in October or November
• Diwali celebrates the return of Rama and Sita, it shows that good wins over evil.
• The bells for dancing weighs about 7 kilos

The performance was amazing I enjoyed watching them dance and also hearing the lovely instruments, the part that I most loved was when the teachers tried to copy the dancer and her moves, surprisingly they did pretty good.

• I would help the poor to have homes because they don't deserve to live in the streets and get cold in winter.

• I would increase the pay for Caregivers,Teacher’s, Nurses and police because they are Saving,Helping and Teaching people.

• I would let body guards guard schools for  24 hours because a break in will never happen.

• I would less the price of products in shops because people can afford to buy products and not waste loads of money.

• I would let plastic go away and use paper bags because plastic decomposes up to 1000 years and it is bad for the environment

Stop using plastic

This is my speech I hope you like it.

Have you ever wondered where plastic goes after you’ve Finished using it, does it go to the moon? The sun? I don't think so, I am christine and i would like to talk about how we can stop using plastic.     1	I think plastic goes to the oceans which i like to swim and play in. What would you think if 1,000 dirty bits of plastic was floating around you while you swam. I wouldn't like swimming in it that, that would be gross and I think you wouldn’t either. Here are some interesting facts about plastic and how we can stop using it.    2
Firstly, 46,000 pieces of plastic is floating in each square mile of the world's oceans, Turtles,dolphins,and whales can choke or starve by confusing plastic bags for jellyfish.	Secondly, here’s a tip to stop so much plastic getting into our oceans. Avoid buying items packaged in plastic and bring a reusable cloth bag when shopping. If you order coffee bring a reusable mug and say “No straw please”.
Thirdly, If you really need to use plastic use it over and over again so it won't be a waste, for example you can reuse a plastic zip lock bag to make it your waterproof holder for your phone. Lastly, plastic decompomposes up to 200 to 1000 years after it is thrown away. Only 6.5 percent of plastic is recycled and 7.7 percent is used in energy facilities. All the plastic that's left goes in the ocean,why don't supermarket shops use cloth bags to put in groceries and only use plastic on saturday's and sunday to lessen plastic.	If we keep using plastic our oceans might be covered by plastic all over. So I strongly believe if we stop using plastic, or cut down on using plastic,  our oceans can be swam and play on. Minecraft Creeper and Steve

This is my Minecraft Creeper and Steve. I made this using Google sheets. I think I did pretty well on making this. The hardest thing  I did was making different shades of green for my Creeper and the easiest thing I did was colouring my Minecraft Steve. I had so much fun doing this, I think I can make a harder one next time.

This is my perfect last day writing, i had lots of fun doing this. My favourite part was the seven star hotel and the grocery cart.

This is the chapter chat I was doing for the past 2 terms, It was pretty fun to craft these things. What I found hard was using hot glue because it is hot and it drips sometimes  and what I  found easy was doing teamwork it is very easy to do things if you work together.

My holiday Writing

Me and my family went to a place called Uptown Bounce. When we went inside I was surprised to see lots of trampolines. We did flips and we played dodge ball. It was super fun and bouncy. We did rock wall climbing and i was scared to look down. But overall it was a really fun experience.

Had a little bit of water in it and gas. CO2 Dry ice exploding in the containers. Dry ice in water bottle - cloud of what CO2. Straight from solid to gas - CO2 doesn’t like liquid

Review

It was a really great show and I was amazed of the cool tricks and experiments

Today we had a visit from the awesome people from ‘Science in a Van’. The morning started with some fun science tricks where they put a tablecloth in the table and they were not using frictions they were using forces. Forces are pushing and pulling, Emma told us that there would be a 50 50 chance that the cups were gonna fall down or they were gonna stay. When she did it the cups stayed in the table, Emma called for volunteers but she needed a teacher, she called one of the teachers and let her do the trick, the countdown went to 3...2..1 and she pulled the tablecloth and she did it, the tablecloth didn’t fall down. The next trick was when Allen came up to the stage and showed us this brown board that was made from America and shipped to new zealand he said after 7 weeks it finally came to his mail now he was saying he was a bit thirsty so he went to the table beside him and he poured some water he drank it and put it on the brown board he swinged it and it didn’t fall down it was a really cool trick. The next part was for the people who paid 3 dollars When we went inside they showed us more of his cool tricks, Emma showed us the chart board that she called the cabinet and we learnt a lot of cool things.    

I learnt that there are 3 states of matter

1. Solid
2. Liquid
3. Gas

I also learnt… Pulling and pushing forces

Another cool thing I learnt was… A L&P can was in a hot stove with a little bit of water they take the can and put it in cold water and it implode and when they took it out a lot of water came out .

I had a really great time watching ‘Science in a Van’. I learnt lots of new, interesting, information about states of matter and I would highly recommend it to anyone else who had the opportunity to watch it. It was a really fun Experience to watch Science In A Van

My timeline

This is my timeline, this is just 10 things that has happened in my life. I had lots of fun making this timeline. It was easy to drag the pictures to where it goes and it was hard to pick the right kind of photos. I learned how to use the timeline and how to put pictures in it. I could do better by getting lots of detail to it next time.
